The Municipality of Santana de Parnaíba, in collaboration with artists Letícia Chamone, Kamilla de Deux, and Letaa, presents the visual arts exhibition *SEM RÓTULOS* (WITHOUT LABELS).

The group’s proposal is to create a meeting space between the artwork and the public—one free from preconceived classifications, where the aesthetic experience takes shape prior to any definition. Rather than imposing a framework, the exhibition invites the viewer to keep an open gaze, allowing each piece to be encountered in a direct, sensitive, and individual way.

Approximately 20 works—comprising paintings and collages—will be on display, exploring various artistic languages within the realm of contemporary figurative and symbolic creation.

Beyond reflecting on the mechanisms of categorization within the art world, the exhibition delves into the subjective realm: it investigates how labels permeate not only the artworks themselves but also the ways in which we perceive, interpret, and, above all, recognize ourselves.

While the art system tends to organize, name, and categorize, individual experience reveals that many of these labels are internalized, repeated, and, at times, even naturalized.

*SEM RÓTULOS* thus proposes a shift: moving from external interpretation toward internal listening.

Without seeking to establish a single style or a linear narrative, the project brings together three artists with distinct bodies of work, united by a refusal to reduce their art to rigid definitions. The result is an exhibition built upon diversity, presence, and direct experience—as well as the possibility of recognizing, and—if only for a moment—setting aside the labels that each of us carries.
